The Hornady APF Primer Tube Assembly works along with the Positive Priming System on a press. This tube assembly makes the priming operation easier and quicker by eliminating the need to work with separate primers. The assembly can be installed with very little effort which simplifies the entire reloading process.
To use a deprimed case is loaded in the shell holder of the ram followed by raising it to the upper extended position. The arm pivots out which then engages with the body spring. To ensure proper sealing the right size primer is required based on the case being reloaded.
Includes both large and small primer tubes. Use with Hornady Positive Priming System™ and there's no more fumbling with primers – priming is 100% hands off. Sold separately.
